SafeGuard Bot – Privacy Policy

SafeGuard is a multi-tool Discord bot focused on server security, moderation, and management. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the bot.

1. Information We Collect

• Server Information: Server IDs, names, roles, channels, and permission settings for bot functionality.
• User Data: User IDs and usernames are collected for moderation, verification, encryption, and giveaway systems.
• Scammer Database: User IDs of confirmed scammers or banned users are stored in our internal threat intelligence system.
• Link Data: Messages are scanned and matched against our internal database of 300,000+ known malicious links.
• Ticket Logs: Tickets submitted via the ticket system may store user messages and actions for support purposes.
• Moderation Logs: When password-protected moderation actions are used, logs may include user ID, action type, and reason.
• Encrypted Messages: Users can voluntarily encrypt messages. These are not stored unless users manually save them externally.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide features such as scam detection, user lookup, giveaways, verification, and ticket support.
• Monitor and flag malicious users and links using our global scammer and URL databases.
• Track server-level stats for dashboards and analytics.
• Protect against abuse through password-based moderation and lockdown protocols.

3. Data Security and Retention

We use secure, access-restricted databases to store sensitive user and server data. Scam reports and flagged links are stored permanently to improve detection. Ticket logs and moderation actions may be retained as long as required for operational integrity.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not share any collected data with third parties. All information stays within SafeGuard systems and is used solely for bot functionality, unless required by law.

5. User Rights

If you wish to have your data removed from our system (e.g., scammer database or support tickets), please contact your server administrator or our support team directly via our Discord support server.
